Kids Corner Childcare Center:Bothell
One year old rooms
Kids Corner has 7 classrooms, each a completely separate room, giving each classroom a home‑daycare feel. Noise is cut down, and each room has a theme and crafts by Elaine Pelham after over 20 years of home and center childcare, creating your child's home away from home with their favorite teacher.

Two separate classroom for two very different stages.
Waddlers Room
Kids Corner Childcare has two rooms for our 1‑year‑olds. First is the waddlers, and as the name suggests, these are our new walkers. They need space and time to move about in a calm, safe room with a small ratio. That’s why Kids Corner’s waddler room is a 1‑7 ratio only. They can explore the room and their new skills with other newly mobile babies in our specially designed waddler room.

Kids Corner Childcare- Pre-Tods Room
As one‑year‑olds get more mobile, they start to see things they want and sometimes forget or don’t know how to get what they want—or how to not get what they want—without being harmful, either through physical touch or emotional outbursts. This starts at about 18 months, and that is what the Pre‑Toddler room is for: empathy training—helping little ones understand that this is another living being, so we need to use our words and gentle touch (if allowed) to navigate the world and leave it better.
Redirection and empathy training are key tools in teaching human kindness, self‑control, and self‑confidence in young children.
