Our story
For nearly 30 years, the Pelham family has been dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children and families. From a home daycare in Wichita to a home center in Woodinville, our journey has always been guided by a deep love for children and a commitment to their growth and well‑being.
That same passion led Mrs. Elaine Pelham to join Kiddy Corner, where she shared her warmth and wisdom with staff and families alike. Her dedication was so inspiring that the center’s then‑owner entrusted Elaine and the Pelham family with its future.
Since 2001, Nicole Pelham has carried forward this legacy, continuing to foster a family‑centered culture where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Over the years, Kid’s Corner Childcare has been a place of joy, discovery, and lifelong learning, touching the lives of thousands of families.

Ms Rosalba Rodas- Program Supervisor
My name is Rosalba, but you can call me “Rosa.” I have been working at Kids’ Corner Childcare since 2000. I was born and raised in El Salvador, Central America, and I moved to the U.S. when I was 15 years old. I speak Spanish and English and enjoy teaching both to the children. Working with children has been my passion for the last 22 years. I strive for a developmentally appropriate, child‑centered atmosphere that will foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child in my care.
To meet this goal, we’ve developed a schedule and curriculum based on my belief that kids learn from constructive play.
I believe in having a warm and welcoming environment that encourages learning through experience and regular, repeated activities that encourage positive self‑esteem, creativity, self‑awareness, and problem‑solving.
I believe that each child is unique and that they all have different ways of learning; we just need to help them find their interests, skills, and natural intelligence.
